Scholarships for the 26th Annual Convention

Hi everyone - as most of you know, the 26th Annual Convention for AMSN will be held on October 12-15, 2017 in Palm Springs, California at the Palm Springs Convention Center and Renaissance Hotel.  Our chapter will be awarding two $1,000 scholarships towards the expenses for two members to attend.

In order to be considered for the scholarships, individuals need to submit an essay on how to boost sagging morale and build an extraordinary work environment.  We are asking that this essay consist of 500-600 words and that it please be typed.  Please submit your essay to me at vukotichj2@upmc.edu by July 1, 2017.  Once the essays are received, the names will be removed and our panel of judges will review the essays.

The winners of the two scholarships will be announced at our July 19, 2017 meeting (we are currently working on a location for our July meeting).  Please note that the winners of the scholarship will be reimbursed after attending the convention; receipts will need to be submitted as proof of attendance.
