ACT 31 Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting

Hello Members:

As discussed at the February 18th AMSN Local Meeting, the following is information to renew your license by providing the following CE on ACT 31 of the Child Abuse through the Department of Welfare.

The PA Child Welfare Resource Center (which is housed in the Pitt School of Social Work) has developed the curriculum which has been approved by the Department of Human Services (aka Dept. of Welfare) that satisfies the ACT 31 requirements.

There are two programs: a 2 hour for license renewal & a 3 hour for the newly licensed. Both are FREE. Because the program is housed in the School of Social Work everyone using this site will have to REGISTER and obtain a new username and password for this site.

Once you complete the program, verification will be directly sent to the PA State Board of Nursing.
